We have big hopes for all the things that can happen in a year, don't we? So big, in fact, that it's easy to feel overwhelmed. This blog is about keeping things simple and fun, sharing tools for getting stuff done, and learning how to balance it all...calmly. Because you know what? Life doesn't have to be crazy to count.

Teacher Gift: “You Deserve a Hand” Lotion

As the school year comes to an end, we’re starting to think about teacher gifts. We made these “You Deserve a Hand” gifts over the weekend and I think they turned out really cute. Teachers are constantly washing their hands at school, so I hope they’ll find the lotion useful. You can find the directions here at Family Fun magazine. They’re wonderfully simple to make. Depending on your budget, you could slip a gift card in there, too.

I had to laugh after we assembled these because eight-year-old Will’s hands are so big the lotion gets lost. I think we need a bigger bottle.
