A Mom's Year

Creating a comfortable life one moment at a time

Valentine Fill-in-the-Blanks

I spotted Valentine’s Mad-Libs over on Dinner: A Love Story last year and thought it was such a great idea I wanted to give it a try. So this year, I changed the wording to make it more generic and gave a copy to Tim. The “mad-libs” aspect confused him a little—he thought he was supposed to fill in the blanks with crazy nouns or verbs, so his first draft included squirrels and gyrating. Hmm…not quite what I had in mind. So I changed the concept to “fill in the blanks.” I like how they turned out.

If you and your sweetheart would like to give Valentine Fill-in-the-Blanks a try, here’s the PDF: Valentine Fill-in-the-Blanks. And if you share this idea, please give credit to Jenny and Andy. They are a brilliant team and have the best recipe for grilled chicken ever.

I’d love to hear how they turn out. Will you be serious or silly? Or sentimental?
