Printable 2013 Oscar Ballot and Bingo

Oscar Night is almost here! Are you ready? Have you watched any of the nominated films?

I’ve seen exactly one: Frankenweenie.

I’m not quite sure how that happened, but no worries. I’m still printing out these Oscar ballots from How About Orange and making some predictions.

Jessica also has 20 different Oscar bingo game cards for you to print out. The cards include things like “Someone in your viewing party asks ‘Who is Seth MacFarlane?'” and “Nora Ephron honored in memorial montage” and “Someone tells his/her kids to go to bed.”

Where will you be this Sunday? Do you host or head out to an Oscar party or do you hunker down in your pajamas to watch? Do you have a favorite Oscar Night Treat? Ours is a trick Tim taught me when we were dating: popcorn and milk duds mixed together. Yum.

Well, at least we’ve all heard Adele’s “Skyfall,” right?!?

I too signed up for How about Orange’s ballot and bingo cards- they were so fun last year! I haven’t seen any of the best picture nominees and out of all the nominations for every category I have only seen Mirror Mirror ( nominated for costume design), two animated features Brave ( which I enjoyed) and Wreck-it Ralph ( which as a child of the 80s I found rather nostalgic) and finally Paperman ( which is a really sweet short animated film- I highly recommend it). I wish I had seen more but I will still enjoy watching the Oscars! We may have friends over this year but usually we watch in our PJs! Thanks for the popcorn idea-sounds good!

How did I miss Brave?! Grammy must’ve taken the kids. I’ll check out Paperman–you were right on with your last recommendation (Dear Frankie–loved it).

BTW, there’s a special technique for the popcorn and Milk Duds: you pop two Milk Duds in your mouth and then shove in a handful of popcorn. It mixes together as you chew. 🙂

I’m glad you tried it! It may be why I married him.
