I was delighted to be included in the Island Autho

I was delighted to be included in the Island Authors raffle basket for Bainbridge Island Rowing’s annual Dream Big fundraiser gala. The basket included books by Kristin Hannah, Susan Wiggs, and David Guterson, as well as treats for book lovers from our wonderful @eagleharborbooks .

I was busy helping with food etc. and didn’t see who won the basket, but fast forward to Tuesday morning: I’m getting my seat set up in the boat and a fellow rower, a retired Naval officer, says, “I started reading your book last night. I’m on December 3rd. You spin a good story.” He made my day!
